Dalton Harrod, 21, made his feature film debut in The Miseducation Of Cameron Post, the British-American drama film about a teenager subjected to gay conversion treatments, released this month, which has already taken the film festival circuit by storm, winning the Grand Jury Prize for US Drama at this year’s Sun-dance Film Festival.
With minor roles in TV series The OA and TURN, as well as parts in various off-Broadway shows while studying at LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts, his appearance opposite Chloë Grace Moretz in Desiree Akhavan’s drama is Harrod’s biggest credit to date. Hot on the heels of this performance, the actor will next be seen in Peter Segal’s film Second Act, starring Jennifer Lopez, set for a November release.
